Welcome to HumanSkill. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the HumanSkill website, digital courses, assessments, coaching services, workshops, and related content (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

1. About HumanSkill

HumanSkill provides educational content, coaching experiences, assessments, and frameworks designed to support self-awareness, leadership development, and personal growth using Whole Brain Thinking–inspired methodologies.

Our Services are intended for learning and development purposes only.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use our Services unless otherwise permitted with appropriate consent.

By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Educational & Non-Medical Disclaimer

HumanSkill Services:

  • Are educational and developmental in nature

  • Are not medical, psychological, therapeutic, or diagnostic services

  • Do not provide mental health, clinical, or medical advice

Assessments and coaching insights are designed to support reflection and learning — not diagnosis, treatment, or decision-making in employment, legal, or medical contexts.

You are solely responsible for how you interpret and apply insights from the Services.

4. Use of Assessments

HumanSkill assessments are proprietary tools designed to support personal insight, learning, and development.

Permitted Sharing

You may share your own individual assessment results with others (such as a coach, manager, mentor, or team) for personal or professional development purposes, provided that:

  • The results are shared as-is, without alteration

  • The results are not represented as medical, psychological, clinical, or diagnostic evaluations

  • The results are not used for employment decisions such as hiring, firing, promotion, or compensation

Restrictions

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, sell, sublicense, or distribute the assessment itself (including questions, scoring logic, frameworks, or methodology)

  • Reverse-engineer, modify, or attempt to derive the underlying structure, scoring, or design of the assessment

  • Use assessment content or results to create competing tools, products, or services

  • Represent the assessment or its outputs as a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic evaluations

Ownership

While you own your personal insights and interpretations derived from your assessment results, HumanSkill retains all intellectual property rights in the assessment, its design, structure, and methodology.

5. Coaching Services

Coaching services are collaborative, educational conversations designed to support insight, awareness, and growth.

HumanSkill coaches:

  • Do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions

  • Do not provide legal, medical, or financial advice

You acknowledge that coaching outcomes depend on your participation, choices, and actions.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Services lawfully and respectfully

  • Provide accurate information when required

  • Protect the confidentiality of your account credentials

  • Comply with our Acceptable Use Policy

You may not misuse, disrupt, or interfere with the Services or attempt to access systems or data without authorization.

7. Intellectual Property

All content provided through the Services — including assessments, frameworks, text, videos, graphics, and course materials — is owned by HumanSkill Corp or its licensors.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the content for personal or professional development purposes only.

Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.

8. Payments, Subscriptions & Refunds

Some Services may require payment or subscription.

By purchasing:

  • You agree to the pricing, billing terms, and any stated refund or cancellation policies at the time of purchase

  • Payments are processed through third-party providers

Unless otherwise stated, all sales are final. Any exceptions will be clearly disclosed prior to purchase.

9. Termination of Access

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services if:

  • You violate these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy

  • Your use creates legal, security, or operational risk

  • We are required to do so by law

You may stop using the Services at any time.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, HumanSkill Corp will not be liable for:

  • Decisions or actions you take based on use of the Services

  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities

Our total liability, if any, will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HumanSkill Corp from claims arising out of:

  • Your misuse of the Services

  • Your violation of these Terms

  • Your infringement of third-party rights

12. Governing Law & Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date.

Continued use of the Services after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
